Melissa Marie Stauffer Melissa Marie Stauffer, 47, of Topeka, passed away Saturday, December 31st 2016, at her residence. Melissa was born in Olathe on April 8, 1969, the daughter of the late John D. and Delphine B. (Woodson) Stauffer. She graduated from Olathe South High School and attended Washburn University in Topeka. She was working as a waitress at Denny's in Topeka and had previously been a home healthcare provider. Melissa is survived by a sister, Cheryl A. Stauffer, of Buffalo, MN; a brother, Chris Stauffer and wife Carla of Kansas City, MO and many aunts and uncles as well as nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 on Monday, January 9, 2017 at the St. Columbkille Catholic Church in Blaine with inurnment following the service at the Mt. Hope Cemetery in Blaine. The family request that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Columbkille Catholic Church, 13305 KS-16, Blaine, KS 67549. Arrangements entrusted by the family to Irvin-Parkview Funeral Home, Manhattan.
