Mitchell Murphy Obituary
He was born to Margaret Spencer and Galen Alfred Murphy (predeceased by both) in Fort Knox, Kentucky. The military family settled in Topeka in 1964, where he attended Southwest Avondale (Shaner), Jardine Jr. High and graduated from Topeka High in 1976.
He is survived by his daughter Molly, Susan the love of his life, siblings Michael (Patty), and Marta, nieces Rachel, Abbie, Claire, and nephew Levi.
He loved fishing, archeology, hunting, reading, and most of all his family. His gregarious nature, orneriness and sense of humor will be missed by many.
Services will be at Wanamaker Woods Church of the Nazarene 3501 SW Wanamaker in Topeka KS., Saturday the 23rd of June at 2:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wanamaker Woods Outreach Team or the Men's Ministry.
