Roger Eugene Eubanks HOLTON-Roger Eugene Eubanks, 92, of Holton, KS passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at Stormont Vail Hospital surrounded by his family. Roger was born October 2, 1920 in rural Holton, the son of Ralph and Alice (Glenn) Eubanks. He graduated in 1938 from Holton High School. On February 14, 1943 he married Margaret Ellen Isensee at Idana, KS. They celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary on February 14, 2013. Roger served in the Army Air Corp during WWII. He owned and operated the Eubanks Auto & Implement Co. in Holton. He was a retired member of the Holton Fire Dept. and the American Legion Post #44. Roger was a life-time member of the Holton Presbyterian Church until it closed in 2008. Roger was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Paul Eubanks and sister, Marjorie Spicher. He is survived by his wife, Margaret; two daughters, Marcia Ransdell (Clark, deceased) and Sue Searles (Mark) both of Topeka, KS; four grandchildren, Kelly Jimenez (Brian), Erin Morgan (Curtis), Cole Searles (Chelsie) and Darren Searles; five great grandchildren, Jakeb, Olivia, Jude, Ryan and Brady and a sister, Joan Decker (Cecil). Funeral Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 21, 2013 at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Burial will be in the Holton Cemetery. Family will greet friends from 6:30 7:30 p.m. Thursday evening.
