Carol: I was very sorry to hear of John's death. It has been a while since I last saw John, but our friendship went all the way back to Sacred Heart School and I believe the first grade. I remember being the little kid on the playground and John was bigger and would come to my rescue if somebody picked on me. We used to have fun as kids running around Oakland on our bicycles with the "gang". Our friendship continued through Hayden High School with John always having a big smile on his face. We will all miss him.

I hope that you are doing okay.

Your friend.
