Maurice Dwaine Baker Maurice Dwaine Baker, 78, of Topeka, passed away on March 6, 2014. He was born September 1, 1935 in Ozawkie, Kansas the son of Maurice and Mary Lorraine (Stebbins) Baker. He graduated from Topeka High School in 1953. He served in the U.S. Army. Survivors include his children; Siglinde (Carl) Cox of Topeka, Dwana Baker of Topeka, Jeffrey JD Baker of Topeka, a sister Regina Meyers of Topeka, step-son Daniel Lang of Phoenix, AZ, and grandchildren Bryce Baker, Shawna Bledsoe, Makayla Yoning, Ethan Baker, Ryan Baker, and Joshua Baker. Mr. Baker will lie in state Monday, March 10, 2014 from 12-8 PM at Davidson Funeral Home with visitation from 6:30-8 PM. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 10:30 AM also at the funeral home.
