Butch Elmer C. Hulse, 59, died Aug. 28, 2011, in Abilene. He was born Nov. 14, 1951 in Ellsworth to Everette and Florence (Andrews) Hulse. A former Topeka resident, he had lived in Wakarusa the past 11 years. He was a Railroad Track Inspector for Union Pacific for 42 years and a member of Brotherhood of Maintenance Way. On Sept. 9, 1999, he married Tami McGinnis in Las Vegas, NV. She survives. Other survivors include sons Joshua Hulse of Bennington, Toby Hulse of Kanopolis, Andy Goodspeed of Hays, Joshua Markley and Christian Markley, both of Manhattan; daughters Darby Jo Shields of New Smyrna Beach, FL and Nikita Andreani of Glendale, CA; sisters Karen Shriner of Ellsworth, Myrna Pool of Houston, TX and Vicki Wacker of Kanopolis; 14 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild. He was preceded in death by a brother Larry, a sister Lynne Bechard and his parents. Visitation will be 1-8 pm Thurs. and 8 am to service time Friday at Parsons Funeral Home, Ellsworth. Funeral service will be 2 pm, Friday at the funeral home with burial following in the Ellsworth Cemetery.
