Oletha May Harrop Tutcher died peacefully at the Bethany Nursing Home in Vidalia, GA on June 30, 2012. She was born on September 4, 1929 in Topeka, KS to Ross and Rachel (Browning) Harrop. Mrs. Tutcher was the widow of Benjamin Leo Tutcher, and is survived by her children Karen (Andrei) Austin of Missouri City, TX, Paul (Linda) Tutcher of Macon, GA, Bruce Tutcher of Oakland, CA, Kathryn (Jeffrey) Gresgott of Waterville, ME, and Tara (James) Fields of Woodbine, GA, her grandchildren Michael Austin of College Station, TX, Tatiana Austin of Riverside, TX, Robin Reynolds of Kingsland, GA, Alexandra Austin of Missouri City, TX, and Elizabeth Austin of Missouri City, TX. She is also survived by her siblings Edwin Harrop, Donald Harrop, Robert Harrop, Ruby Sakai, Carol Miller, Kenneth Harrop, and Dale Harrop. She was predeceased by her sister Hazel Zlotkin, and her brother Russel Harrop. Mrs. Tutcher was married on July 25, 1949, in San Francisco, CA. She was an amazing cook and enjoyed sewing, crocheting, genealogy, and target shooting. She was a very hardworking wife and mother, was patient, humble, kind, and always put others before herself. She was a member of the Methodist Church. Mrs. Tutcher was cremated on June 31, 2012, and will be interred at Roselawn Memory Gardens, Bainbridge, GA, on Sunday, August 12, 2012, in a private ceremony.
