Samuel J. Taullie, age 69, of Topeka, died October 16, 2012 at his home. He was born May 24, 1943, in Pueblo CO, to Philip and Steffie (Savarino) Taullie. Samuel married Diana Done May 7, 2004 in Elko, Nevada. She survives. He was an engineer and conductor for the Union Pacific and Vice General Chairman for the United Transportation Union. He retired from the U.T.U in 2007. Survivors include his wife, Diana Taullie, Topeka KS; his children, Samuel Dino Taullie (Tammie), Maxwell NE, Brian Eric Taullie (Kristi), Cheyenne WY, Darrin Charles Taullie (Tracy), LaJunta CO, Travis Joseph Taullie, Denver CO; seven grandchildren; one great-grandson, his brother Richard Taullie (Kaye), Pueblo CO; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Monday night at Roselawn Funeral Home in Pueblo, Colorado. Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning in Pueblo CO with burial following at Roselawn Cemetery, Pueblo CO. Service times to be determined later. Memorial services in Topeka will be held at a later date.
