Daniel Charles Cessarich, 90, of Topeka, passed away Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at Midland Hospice. Dan was born September 22, 1922 to Anton Cessarich and Mary (Kuich) Cessarich, in Berwind CO. He served in the Air Force from 1943-45 as a B29 mechanic. He worked for the Santa Fe Railroad for 36 years in Los Angeles and Topeka. He met his wife, Louise, at the Los Angeles Santa Fe office where they both worked. They celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary last year on June 28, 2012. Dan will be missed by many who loved him. He is survived by his loving wife, Louise; four sons, David and his wife Darlene, Liberty MO, John and his wife Connie, Greenville SC, Paul and his wife Deanna, Topeka KS, and Mark, Santa Fe NM; daughter-in-law, Cindy Padilla, Santa Fe NM; nine wonderful grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; brother, Frank, Oceanside CA; two sisters, Ann Veltri, Raton NM and Elizabeth Cooper of TX; and a sister-in-law, Elizabeth Paskowicz, San Diego CA. He was preceded in death by a brother, Joe. A parish rosary will be prayed 5 p.m. Friday, at Kevin Brennan Family Funeral Home, 2801 SW Urish Rd, Topeka KS, 66614, where family will greet friends until 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Pete O'Sullivan at 10 a.m. Saturday at Christ the King Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to
