Kenneth Martin Ottlinger, 74, died March 9, 2013 with family at his side, at Hospice House, Hutchinson. He was born March 23, 1938 in Detroit, Michigan, the son of Frank Ottlinger and Julie Curnick. Raised in Michigan, he was a U.S. Air Force veteran, stationed at the Hutchinson Naval Air Station. A graduate of Hutchinson Community College, Kenneth enjoyed car restoration work, golfing, was a stock car race fan and past Boy Scout master. On September 3, 1960 he married Joleen Julie Brothers in Hutchinson, KS. She died August, 8, 2008. Survivors include: two sons, Kevin, Topeka, and Keith and wife Sonja, Derby; and brother, Mike and wife Wanda, Dearborn, MI. Memorial Graveside services will be 11:00 A.M., Thursday March 28, 2013 at Penwell Gabel Cemetery and Mausoleum with Reverend Dr. Kim Biery presiding. Friends may sign the register book Tuesday and Wednesday from 9:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Penwell Gabel Funeral Home, Hutchinson. Cremation has taken place.
