Josephine Gibbs Obituary

Josephine Gibbs Josephine Gibbs, 95, of Topeka, died April 26, 2015 at The House at Midland Care. She was born on a farm near Antonino, Kansas on December 18, 1919 the daughter of Joseph and Margaret (Miller) Urban. Josephine will lie in state at the Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home on Friday after 2:00 p.m. where the family will greet friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Scranton. Interment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Topeka at 12:00 noon. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to St. Patrick Catholic Church or Midland Care Hospice and sent in care of Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home, 800 SW 6th Ave., Topeka, Kansas 66603.
