Bertha Forrest, 88, of Campbellsville, died at 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 18, 2014, in Greensburg, Ky.
Daughter of the late Silas Tedder and Nettie Hamm Tedder, she was born Feb. 5, 1926, in Casey County, Ky.
She professed faith in Christ and was of the Church of God faith.
She married Alfred P. Forrest on March 19, 1948. He preceded her in death April 7, 2001.
Survivors include two sons, Preston Forrest and his wife, Linda, of Campbellsville and Lee Forrest of Orlando, Fla.; a daughter, Shirley Sapp and her husband, Michael, of Campbellsville; four grandchildren, Matthew Forrest and his wife, Lindsay, and Jason Sapp of Campbellsville, Timmy Forrest and his wife, Selina, of Chicago, Ill., and Dr. Christy Sapp and her husband, Matthew Harpold, of Edgewood, Ky.; three great-grandchildren, Gabriel Forrest, Aiden Forrest and Charlotte Harpold; three sisters, Nannie Knifley of Campbellsville, Betty Jean Kilby and her husband, Earl, of Columbus, Ind., and Mary Ann Talbott of Madison, Ind.; three brothers, Troy Tedder and his wife, Beverly, and Jesse Tedder and his wife, Janet, all of Columbus, Ind., and Roy Tedder and his wife, Laurene, of Campbellsville; a brother-in-law, Herman Seaborne of Columbus; special caregiver, Dean Hudgins of Greensburg; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by four sisters, Elma Rouse, Celestine Redmon, Dorothy Seaborne and Nora Jewell.
Funeral was Saturday, March 22, at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville.
Bros. Wesley Paul and Dickie Rogers officiated.
Burial was in Brookside Cemetery.
