Betty Frances Tucker Curry, 80, of Greensburg, Ky., died Friday, March 28, 2014.
Daughter of the late Castle Tucker and Ada Kate Judd Tucker, she was born March 2, 1934, in Green County, Ky.
She married the Rev. Stanley Thurston Curry on June 19, 1948. He preceded her in death on June 8, 1982.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Stan and Kim Curry of Campbellsville; four daughters and three sons-in-law, Beverly and Larry Ennis, Sheila Curry and Sherry and Terry Aaron, all of Greensburg, and Becky and Brad Todd of Elizabethtown, Ky.; a sister, Ann McKinney of Louisville, Ky.; 11 grandchildren and their spouses, Jackie and Jeff Knipp, Jamie and Cheslee Bloyd, Steve and Brooke Shaw, Christopher Todd, Kristen Todd, Kyle Todd, Nikki Taylor, Matthew Taylor, Jeremy Whitlow and Jordan Upchurch, Katie and Toby Curry and Brent Fulkerson; and five great-grandchildren, Shelby Nalley, Paxton Bloyd, Carter Curry, Ansley Bloyd and Lincoln Shaw.
She was also preceded in death by two daughters, Tammy Jo Curry on May 25, 1969, and Patricia Lynn "Patty" Shaw on June 11, 2008; a granddaughter, Terra Lynn Shaw on June 12, 1989; a sister, Becky Judd; and three brothers, Tommy Tucker, Weldon Tucker and Bloyd Tucker.
Funeral was Sunday, March 30, at Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg. Bros. Daryl Jessie and Carlos Compton officiated.
Burial was in Brooks-Pierce Cemetery in Green County.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Gideon Bible Fund or the Prayers for Paxton Fund, both of which can be made at the funeral home.
