Charlie Fox

Charlie Fox, 92, of Campbellsville, died at 1:55 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2014, in Campbellsville.
Son of the late Carl C. Fox and Tina E. Gorman Fox, he was born May 27, 1921, in Jeffersonville, Ind.
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville Christian Church.
He married Mabel Marie Payton on Jan. 3, 1959. She preceded him in death Feb. 25, 2002.
He was a veteran of World War II, having served his country honorably in the United States Army, and is a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Charlie then became a salesman in Campbellsville for the next 45 years.
Survivors include two sons, Larry Fox of Marysville, Ind., and Russell Fox and his wife, Beverly, of New Albany, Ind.; a daughter, Suzy Ricketts and her husband, Mark, of Charlestown, Ind.; three stepchildren, Marie Ratcliff of Campbellsville, Louise Black of Frankfort, Ky., and Willard Claywell of Houston, Texas; two grandchildren, Darin Fox of New Albany and Debbie Fox Kaiser and her husband, Tone, of Marysville; a great-grandson, Jerry Clayton Fox of Marysville; and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Debbie Jane Fox in 1971; a daughter-in-law, Sharon Fox; three sisters, Helen Biggs, Ida Louise Richardson and Marie Conrad; his former wife, Nina Mae Hill Fox; and special friend, Kyoko "Kay" Troutman.
Funeral was Sunday, March 2, at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville. Dr. Paul Patton officiated.
Burial was in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
