Garry Dicken, 62, of Campbellsville, died at 7:03 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2012, in Louisville, Ky.
Son of the late Homer Dicken and Alma Barr Dicken, he was born on July 4, 1950, in Taylor County.
He professed faith in Christ and attended God's Friendship Chapel.
He was a retired United States Postal Service employee.
He married Barbara Shively on Dec. 6, 1968. She survives.
Survivors also include two daughters, Tammy White and her husband, David, and Pam Dicken, all of Campbellsville; four grandchildren, Mylea White, Tanner White, Lydia Dicken and Chase Burton, all of Campbellsville; a sister-in-law, Freda Dicken of Cape Coral, Fla.; an uncle, Wayne Barr of Columbia, Ky.; two nieces, Melinda King and her husband, James, and Kim McVay, all of Campbellsville; and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by a brother, Windell Dicken, on Dec. 18, 2004.
Funeral was Friday, Dec. 21, at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville.
Bros. Robert Boston and Dennis Penick officiated.
Burial was in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.
