Hazel Lacy, 90, of Campbellsville, died at 5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 18, 2013, in Campbellsville.
Daughter of the late George E. Tucker and Eliza Phillips Tucker, she was born Dec. 26, 1922, in Taylor County.
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Liberty Baptist Church.
She was a retired laboratory technician for Dr. Henry F. Chambers and other physicians for some 40 years.
She was a member of Order of Eastern Star, Pitman Chapter 157, Taylor County Homemakers Club and was a past Taylor County Extension Service board member.
She married James Charlie Lacy on Dec. 13, 1939. He preceded her in death Feb. 17, 1989.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Lois Lacy of Campbellsville; a daughter-in-law, Sue Lacy of The Villages, Fla.; five grandchildren and their spouses, Phillip M. Jr. and Kim Lacy of Tennessee, LeAnn L. and Mike Magre and Jeanne Burton, all of Louisville, Ky. and Paula C. and Daniel Evans and David and Starr Harris, all of Campbellsville; and eight great-grandchildren, J.C., Lacy, Autumn, Trey, Colin, Nora, Jordan and Josh.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Phillip M. Lacy Sr.; and two sisters, Geneva Phillips and Grace Knuckles.
Funeral was Sunday, Jan. 20, at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville. The Revs. Carlis Compton and Kyle Franklin officiated.
Burial was in Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery.
