Johnnie Mic-hael McElroy, 54, of Glasgow, Ky., died Saturday, Nov. 30, 2013, in Green County, Ky., from injuries sustained in an auto accident.
He was the son of Annie Agnes Shively McElroy of Finley, Ky., and the late Henry Leo McElroy.
He was a member of Our Lady of the Hills Catholic Church and owner and operator of Little Pony Express Trucking in Glasgow.
He was married to Bobbie Teresa McElroy. She survives.
Survivors also include two sons, Michael Brian Spurling and his wife, Tammie, and Jonathan Leo McElroy, all of Campbellsville; a daughter, Elizabeth Ann McElroy of Finley; a stepdaughter, Melissa Renee Ross of Merry Oaks, Ky.; eight grandchildren, Isabelle Spurling, Sophia Spurling, Gabby Vanhoose, Jonathon Sanders, Cheyenne Adkins, Cayden Lane Titsworth, Emily Grace Titsworth and Bryson Lane McElroy; two brothers, Roy Thomas McElroy and his wife, Patsy, of Lebanon, Ky.; and Charles Wayne McElroy and his wife, Brenda, of Finley; six sisters, Billie Mae Turner and her husband John of Bardstown, Ky.; Nancy Marie Moore and her husband, Charles, and Mary Elizabeth Parrott and her husband, Wallace, all of Lebanon; Gloria Lillian McElroy of Finley, Roberta Ann Lewis and her husband, Larry, of Willisburg, Ky.; and Brenda Kay Goatley and her husband, Charles, of Springfield, Ky.; and several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by a half-brother, Afton Leroy McElroy.
Funeral was Wednesday, Dec. 4, at Our Lady of the Hills Catholic Church in Finley. Burial was in the church cemetery. A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home in Glasgow was in charge of arrangements.
