Kimble Parker Jessie, 68, of Campbellsville, died at 10 p.m. Tuesday, June 10, 2014, in Campbellsville.
Son of Titus Jessie and the late Eula Fudge Jessie, he was born May 8, 1946, in Adair County, Ky.
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville Christian Church, where he had served as an elder, deacon, Sunday school superintendent and on the church board.
He was retired owner and operator of Jessie Insurance Agency.
He was a former active member of the Campbellsville Jaycees, Little League Baseball in Campbellsville for 20 or more years, a member of the Elk Horn Masonic Lodge #568 F.&A.M. and was a member of the Campbellsville University Advancement Board.
He married Julie Spratt on July 10, 1970.
Besides his wife, Julie Jessie, survivors include three sons and their wives, Scott and Jenny Jessie of Campbellsville, Adam and Ashley Jessie of Knoxville, Tenn., and the Rev. Blake and Emily Jessie of Greensburg, Ky.; nine grandchildren, Hunter Jessie, Brayden Jessie, Taylor Jessie, Carson Jessie, Jase Jessie, River Jessie, Parker Jessie, Josiah Jessie and Baby Jessie; his father and stepmother, Titus and Amy Jessie of Campbellsville; several other relatives and many friends.
He was also preceded in death by a brother, Keith Jessie on March 23, 1988.
Funeral was Friday, June 13, at Campbellsville Christian Church in Campbellsville. The Rev. Blake Jessie and Minister Joe Hatchett officiated.
Burial was in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.
