K.J. Richerson

K.J. Richerson, 12, of Campbellsville, died at 5:15 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 22, 2013, in Houston, Texas.
Born in Austell, Ga., on June 24, 2001, he was the son of Dr. Kevin Richerson and Jane Pike Richerson.
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church.
He was a seventh-grader at Taylor County Middle School and a member of Boy Scout Troop 616.
Survivors include his paternal grandparents, Max and Neva Richerson and Rachel and Bill Strader of Campbellsville; several aunts and uncles, John and Jeana Pike of Columbia, Ky., Jason and Stephanie Richerson of Hendersonville, Tenn., Troy and Bethany Richerson of Bowling Green, Ky., Ryan and Billie Jo Cox of Knifley, Ky., Kevin Rafferty and Angie and Brad Wise of Campbellsville; several cousins and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, David and Leva Pike.
Funeral was Saturday, Sept. 28, at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville. The Rev. Lanny Garner officiated.
Burial was in Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Adair County, Ky.
