Lavern Stone, 90, of Campbellsville, died at 5:55 a.m. Sunday, June 16, 2013, in Greensburg, Ky.
Daughter of the late Lovell Cornwell and Earlene Montgomery Cornwell, she was born Nov. 2, 1922, in Warren County, Ky.
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of St. Mark United Methodist Church.
She was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville.
She was married to James E. Stone. He preceded her in death July 9, 1996.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Terry Joe and Jeri Stone of Campbellsville; three grandchildren, Kelly Joe Stone and his wife, Dr. Monica Stone, of Summersville, Ky., Kim Arnold and her husband, Steve, of Campbellsville and Jay Stone and his wife, Melanie, of Hopkinsville, Ky.; a step-grandson, Greg Jeffries and his wife, Krisinda, of Campbellsville; 11 great-grandchildren, Chelsey Shae Stone, Thomas "TBear" Stone, Jake Stone, Lila Grace Stone, Trey Stone, Cameron Hughes, Wyatt Stone, Lucas Rush Stone, Julie Stone, Victoria Stone and Haylie Stone; a step-great-grandson, Cameron Jeffries; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by a son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Wanda Stone; a daughter-in-law, Gerri Crawley Stone; and a grandson, John Stone.
Funeral was Monday, June 24, at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville. Dr. James Jones officiated.
Burial was in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.
