Nancy Lou Hord Sandidge, 83, of Danville, Ky., died Friday, July 19, 2013.
Daughter of the late Ben and Birdie Phillips Hord, she was born Feb. 5, 1930, in Campbellsville.
She was married to Dwight Phillips Sandidge for 62 years. He survives.
She was a member of Bethel First Presbyterian Church in Campbellsville, worked for many years as a bookkeeper for Taylor County Schools, and she enjoyed traveling with her girlfriends over the years, spending time with her family and working crossword puzzles.
Survivors also include a son, Ben D. Sandidge and his wife, Suzanne, of Danville, Ky.; a daughter, Beth Levinson and her husband, Sammy, of Bowling Green, Ky.; six grandchildren, Jess Sandidge, Brook Hollis, Samantha Sandidge, MacKenzie Sandidge, Meggan Graham and Erin Faulkner; three great-grandchildren, Keaton Hollis, Lola Hollis and Reid Graham; three sisters, Eddie Garvin of Florida, Betty Pike of Campbellsville and AntieLaurie Cox of Greensburg, Ky.; and a sister-in-law, Claranelle Hord.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, Richard Hord.
Funeral was Monday, July 22, at Bethel First Presbyterian Church in Campbellsville. Pastor Jim Murphy and the Rev. Rolland Tarter officiated.
Burial was in Bethel First Presbyterian Cemetery.
Preston-Pruitt Funeral Home in Danville was in charge of arrangements. Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville was in charge of local arrangements.
