Ollie H. Williams

Ollie H. Williams, 85, of Louisville, Ky., died Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013, at his daughter's home in Lawrenceburg, Ky.
Son of the late Mary Edna Thompson and John Emmitt Williams, he was born in Louisville, Ky.
Williams was an electrician safety supervisor for the federal government. He served as a Petty Officer 2nd Class in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He enjoyed working as a mechanic, gardening and visiting the casino.
He was married to Martha Elizabeth Wagner Williams for 56 years. She survives.
Survivors also include three sons, Randy K. Williams (Kim Treymayne) of Olive Branch, Miss., Jackie J. Williams (Yvette) of Portsmouth, Va., and Barry Williams, of Lawrenceburg, Ky.; a daughter, Yvette Pace (Henry) of Lawrenceburg; five grandchildren, Elizabeth A. Lucas, Michelle N. Williams, Samantha R. Lucas, Keyna M. Williams and Arviana A. Williams; a step-granddaughter, Ebony S.V. Pace; a great-grandson, Jordan A. Lucas; a step-great-grandchild, C.J. "King" Pace; two brothers, George T. Williams (Celia) of Campbellsville and Richard L. Williams of Stockon, Calif.; and a host of family and friends.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Emmitt Williams and Owen Mitchell Williams.
Memorial service is at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 9, at Mount Union Baptist Church, 1575 Taylor Chapel Road, Greensburg, KY 42743. The Rev. Ash will officiate.
