Omer Farmer

Omer Farmer, 78, of Campbellsville, died at 10 a.m. Friday, April 5, 2013, in Louisville, Ky.
Son of the late Ollie Farmer and Sadie Rafferty Farmer, he was born on June 30, 1934, in Taylor County.
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Pitman Valley Baptist Church.
He retired as a Baptist minister with about 50 years of service.
He married Ruth Kingsbury on May 22, 1965. She survives.
Survivors also include three daughters, Ina Kearney of Campbellsville, Barbara Fisher and her husband, Ricky, of Lebanon, Ky. and Sarah Kaminski and her husband, Scott, of Douglasville, Ga.; a son, Lewis Farmer of Louisville, Ky.; a special grandson, Douglas Kearney; four other grandchildren, Mindy Watson and her husband, Ben, of Campbellsville and Ricky Fisher Jr., Cody Fisher and Sara Fisher of Lebanon; two brothers, Wayne Farmer and his wife, Joyce, of Elk Horn, Ky. and Raymond Farmer of Buffalo, Ky.; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by a son-in-law, Eugene Kearney; two brothers, Ralph Farmer and Orval Farmer; and a sister, Mildred Pyles.
Funeral was Sunday, April 7, at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville. The Rev. Danny Nelson officiated.
Burial was in Brockman Cemetery.
