Shirley Reynolds Hedgespeth


Shirley Reynolds Hedgespeth, 73, of Campbellsville, died at 11:16 a.m. Friday, Feb. 7, 2014.
Daughter of the late Willard Morgan and Catherine Knopp Morgan, she was born April 7, 1940, in Taylor County.
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church.
She was a retired loan officer and senior vice president at Citizens Bank and Trust Co., having been employed at the bank for 32 years.
She was a member of the Campbellsville Rotary Club, serving as secretary and president.
She was a member of Leadership Campbellsville/Taylor County and a member of the Taylor County Republican Women's club.
She married Ralph Hedgespeth in May 2010. He survives.
Survivors also include a daughter, Debbie Reynolds Price of Versailles, Ky.; four sons, Rich Reynolds and his wife, Jennifer, of Versailles; Tim Reynolds, Mitch Reynolds and his wife, Pat; and Chris Reynolds and his wife, Karen, all of Campbellsville; a stepson, Bobby Hedgespeth and his wife, Jessica, of Campbellsville; nine grandchildren, Jeff Reynolds and his wife, Tonya; Ryan Reynolds; Sarah Reynolds Sayers and her husband, David; Stephanie Reynolds; Megan Newton and her husband, Drew; Emily Bonner and her husband, Tony; Jonathan Price and his wife, Megan; Hannah Reynolds and Lucas Reynolds; a step-grandson, Chase Thomas Hedgespeth; two great-grandchildren, Christian Reynolds and Noah Reynolds; a brother, Larry Morgan and his wife, Darlene, of Lebanon, Ky.; a sister-in-law, Carolyn Morgan of Bardstown, Ky.; an aunt, Helen Williams of Indianapolis, Ind.; an uncle, Joe Knopp of Campbellsville; several nieces, nephews and cousins and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Morgan in July 2000.
Funeral was Sunday, Feb. 9, at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville. The Revs. J. Alvin Hardy and Mitch Ash officiated.
Burial was in Good Hope Baptist Church Cemetery.
