Anna Frances Hogue, 93, of Campbellsville, died at 8:06 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012, in Campbellsville.

Daughter of the late George William Jones and Ethel Mary Dearborn Jones, she was born in Harrison County, Ky., on June 20, 1919.
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville Christian Church.
She was a retired teacher with the Campbellsville Independent School System, having taught eighth grade and high school English, speech, drama, civics and black studies, and was a very successful debate coach. Her honors include Teacher of the Year and Taylor County Business and Professional Club's Woman of Achievement.
She was an active member of Taylor County and Kentucky Historical Societies, Campbellsville Women's Club, Taylor County Retired Teachers Association, Taylor County Business and Professional Women's Club and the Hiestand House Foundation Committee. She was also a life member of the Daughters of the Revolution and was a Kentucky Colonel.
She was married to Forrest J. Hogue on Aug. 21, 1938. He preceded her in death March 26, 1999.
Survivors include a son, William Perry Hogue; a daughter, Ethel Mary Osborne and her husband, Paul, of Campbellsville; a daughter-in-law, Joy Hogue of Texas; six grandchildren, Shannon Lynne Brown and her husband, Dennis, Anna Laura Humphress and her husband, J.D., Leslie Frances Hoffmann and her husband, John, of Campbellsville, Marilynda Leigh Jacquez and her husband, Andy, of Apache Junction, Ariz., Forrest J. Hogue III of Emory, Texas, and William Jeffrey Hogue of Tucson, Ariz.; 11 great-grandchildren, Jessica Frances Bland, Reili and Keeli Farmer, Evan and Sydney Humphress, Diamond Stargel, Brandon and Brhiannon Brown and Andrea, Christopher and Alexander Jacquez; special friends, Heather Brown of Pikeville, Ky. and Nathan and Rachel Curling of Emory; and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Forrest J. Hogue Jr.
Funeral was Sunday, Dec. 30, at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville. Drs. Paul Patton and James Jones officiated.
Burial was in Brookside Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Brandon Brown, Dennis Brown, Forrest Hogue III, John Hoffman, Nick Hoffman, Evan Humphress and J.D. Humphress.
The family requests expressions of sympathy be in the form of Gideon Bibles and can be made at the funeral home.
