Bennie "Foot" Curry, the son of the late Claudie and Lola B. Pierce Curry, was born, Thursday, May 1, 1941 in Green County and departed this life on Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2017 in Campbellsville at his residence.
He was 76 years, 5 months and 24 days of age.
He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Pitman Valley Baptist Church. He was a former car salesman for over 25 years and later a salesman at Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.
Bennie enjoyed talking on the CB radio and acquired the name "Big Foot" as his CB handle. He always enjoyed talking to people, and he had a great sense of humor and loved laughing and telling good jokes.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Kim Curry.
Survivors include his wife: Donna Agee Curry of Campbellsville; a daughter, Rita Stocksdale and husband Skip of Indiana; three sons: Terry Curry of Columbia, James Dean Curry and wife Carlene, and David Curry and wife Loretta, all of Somerset; and a sister-in-law: Gatha Williams and husband Billy of Russell Springs.
Also surviving are 10 grandchildren: Bridget, Brandon, Jasper, Jacob, Jared, Kristen, Chad, Candace, Michael and Jason;16 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
The funeral service for Bennie "Foot" Curry was Saturday, Oct. 28, 2017, in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home with Entombment in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Bro. Dannie Nelson and Bro. Ronnie Dooley officiated.
