Clayton Hunt, 87, of Campbellsville, died at 2:13 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2014, in Campbellsville.

Son of the late Jimmie Hunt and Julia Caulk Hunt, he was born Jan. 3, 1927, in Marion County, Ky.
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Mt. Washington Baptist Church.
He was a retired farmer.
He married Maxine DeWitt on Oct. 9, 1948.
Besides his wife, Maxine DeWitt Hunt of Campbellsville, survivors include three sons, Gary C. Hunt, Robbie Hunt and his wife, DeAnna, and David Hunt and his wife, Teresa, all of Campbellsville; two daughters, Arlene Wright of Campbellsville and Linda Huber and her husband, Harvey, of Marion County, Ky.; 11 grandchildren, Samantha Coomer and her husband, Stephen, Caitlin Hunt, Matthew Hunt, Jason Wright and his wife, Maranda, Tracy Huber, David Huber and his wife, LeAnn, Carrie Lynn Huber, Job Hunt, Ethan Hunt, Morgan Hunt and Gracie Hunt; two great-grandchildren, Ashley Huber and Jackson Wright; two sisters, Kathryn Sullivan and Geneva Sullivan and her husband, Leon, all of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Rebecca Aline Hunt; four brothers, Gene Hunt, Bennie Hunt, Walter Hunt and Johnny Preston Hunt; and two sisters, Effie Josephine Sullivan and Burnetta Albertson.
Funeral was Friday, Feb. 7, at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville. The Rev. Jimmy York officiated.
Burial was in Mt. Washington Baptist Church Cemetery.
Family requests expressions of sympathy be in the form of donations to Gideon Bibles and they can be made at the funeral home.
