Elzie "Zeb" Jones, 92, of Campbellsville, died at 10:53 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, 2014, in Elizabethtown, Ky.

Son of the late Oscar Jones and Ada Turner Jones, he was born April 16, 1921, in Pulaski County, Ky.
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
He retired from Carnation Milk Co. after many years as a driver.
He was a veteran of World War II, having served his country honorably in the United States Army in India and Asia.
He married Maxine Simpson on Oct. 16, 1942.
Besides his wife, Maxine Jones of Campbellsville, survivors include three daughters, Ruth Gray of Campbellsville; Carol Cox and her husband, Jerry, of Mannsville, Ky.; and Vivian Sullivan and her husband, David, of Mt. Washington, Ky.; two sons, Jimmy Jones and his wife, Judy, of Campbellsville, and Mike Jones and his wife, Kay, of Louisville, Ky.; 12 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Ella Mae Stubbs of Burlington, Ky.; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by a grandson, Chris Gray; two great-grandsons, Gerald Douglas Cox III and Christopher David Sexton; a son-in-law, Junior Gray; two brothers, Elmer Jones and Frank Jones; and a sister in infancy, Jeanette Jones.
Funeral was Tuesday, Feb. 18, at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville. The Rev. Larry Rhodes officiated.
Burial was in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.
Family requests expressions of sympathy be in the form of donations to Calvary Baptist Church or Gideon Bibles and they can be made at the funeral home.
