Ethel June Warren Sluder, 81, of Taylor County, died at 11:40 a.m. on Saturday, June 23, 2012, in Elizabethtown.
Daughter of the late Miller Wilson Sr. and Josie Graham Wilson, she was born Nov. 6, 1930, in Taylor County.
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville Church of the Nazarene.
She was married to W.C. Warren on July 17, 1948. He preceded her in death October 4, 2000.
The Warrens owned and operated Warren's Quick Shop for about 43 years.
She later married Willie "Bill" Sluder, who survives.
Other survivors include a son and a daughter, Mark W. Warren and his wife, Rebecca, and Nona Parrish of Campbellsville; a daughter-in-law, Betsy Warren of Campbellsville, seven grandchildren, Chris Parrish and his wife, Regina; Leanne Parrish, Jacob Warren and Cheyenne Warren, all of Campbellsville; Willie Warren of California, Travis Warren and his wife, Donna, of Glasgow, Ky.; and Stacy Wright and his wife, Amy, of Summersville, Ky.; several great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Doris Jean Wilson of Campbellsville; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by two sons, Charles David Warren on Feb. 7, 1993, and Marvin Lee Warren on Dec. 12, 2009; a son-in-law, Bobby "Pete" Parrish on Feb. 2, 2012; a grandson, Laramie Marvin Warren on Dec. 26, 1989; and a brother, Miller "Sonny" Wilson Jr. on Feb. 26, 2003.
Graveside service was Monday, June 25, at Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. Bro. Clifton Hale officiated.
Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
