Hallie Cox, 85, of Campbellsville, died at 3:45 p.m. on Saturday, June 30, 2012, in Greensburg, Ky.
Daughter of the late Robert Perkins and Zella Bottoms Perkins, she was born in Taylor County on July 11, 1926.
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of St. Andrew United Methodist Church.
She was married to Andy Cox on July 17, 1944. He preceded her in death April 26, 2000.
Survivors include a daughter and a son, Charlotte Davis and her husband, Lonnie, and Terry A. Cox of Campbellsville; four grandchildren, Todd Cox of Brooks, Ky.; Rhonda Beard and her husband, Mike; Joseph Davis and his wife, Cheryl; and Amy Southern and her husband, Mark, of Campbellsville; four great-grandchildren, Seirra Scott, Jordan Southern, Caleb Southern and Kyndal Southern; two step-great-grandsons, Tyler Cruse and Jacob Cruse; a step-great-great-granddaughter, Jaylee Cruse; two brothers, Frank Perkins and Jerry Perkins of Louisville, Ky.; several other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by a brother and a sister, Lindsey Perkins and Lorine Cox.
Funeral was Tuesday, July 3, at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville. The Rev. Larry Rowell officiated. Burial was in Brookside Cemetery.
