Henry E. Blakeman, 72, of Campbellsville, died at 8:34 a.m. Monday, Feb. 24, 2014, in Campbellsville.

Son of the late Clifford Edwin Blakeman and Jane Acquila Larimore Blakeman, he was born May 23, 1941, in Green County, Ky.
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Beech Grove Baptist Church.
He was the retired owner and operator of Blakeman Hardwoods and Blakeman Carpets.
He married Mickie King on June 22, 1960. She preceded him in death April 13, 2010.
He married Barbara Edelen Powell on Feb. 14, 2014. She survives.
Besides his wife, Barbara Powell Blakeman, survivors include three sons, Barry Blakeman and his wife, Donna; Mark Blakeman and his wife, Tammy; and Steve Blakeman and his fiancÄe, Vicki Milby, all of Campbellsville; two stepsons, John Powell of Campbellsville and Steven Douglas Powell of Atlanta, Ga.; five grandchildren, Jeffrey Scott Blakeman and his fiancÄe, Danielle Bastin; Christopher Lynn Blakeman, Matthew Dylan Blakeman, Miranda Star Blakeman and Alex Bryan Blakeman; two step-grandchildren, Christina Powell and Adam Chase Powell and his fiancÄe, Chelsea Smith; two step-great-grandchildren, Lucas Edward Vardeman and Sophia Yates; a brother, Ronnie Blakeman and his wife, Gayle, of Greensburg, Ky.; a brother-in-law, the Rev. Curtis Slinker of Greensburg; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by a sister, Alice Slinker.
Funeral was Thursday, Feb. 27, at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville. The Revs. Curtis Slinker and Larry Rowell officiated.
Burial was in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.
Family requests expressions of sympathy be in the form of donations to Gideon Bibles, and they can be made at the funeral home.
