James Myers, 81, of Elk Horn, Ky., died Sunday, March 16, 2014, at Taylor Regional Hospital.

Son of the late George and Grace Wilson Myers, he was born Sept. 9, 1932, in Taylor County.
He was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.
He was married to Virginia Baldwin Myers. She preceded him in death.
Survivors include two sons, Ricky Myers and his wife, Janice, and Tony Myers and his wife, Amy, all of Campbellsville; two daughters, Sharon Bolt and her husband, Glen, and Diane England and her husband, Gary, all of Campbellsville; a brother, Simon Myers of Campbellsville; three sisters, Bernice Cook, Nettie Cox and Frances Johnson and her husband, Ray, all of Campbellsville; a special niece, Bonnie Johnson; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by a brother, Arthur Myers; a sister, Lena Myers; and a brother-in-law, Bradley Baldwin.
Funeral was Wednesday, March 19, at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home in Campbellsville.
Burial was in Brookside Cemetery with full military honors by the Marion County DAV Chapter 70.
