Jean Jaynes, 78, of Campbellsville, died at 7:51 p.m., Tuesday, April 23, 2013, in Louisville, Ky.

Daughter of the late Roy Clarke and Zelma Humphrey Clarke, she was born June 30, 1934, in Adair County, Ky.
She professed faith in Christ and attended Robinson Creek Baptist Church.
She was a retired nurse's aide.
She married Kermit Jaynes on March 12, 1949. He preceded her in death July 21, 2005.
Survivors include two daughters, Gwen Robinson and her husband, Gary, of Lawrenceburg, Ky.; and Pamela Barber and her husband, Denny, of Louisville; seven grandchildren, Lisa Cowherd of Campbellsville, Jason White, Jonathon White, Melissa Barber and Corey Barber, all of Louisville, Erin Robinson of Lexington, Ky., and Amanda Finnegan of Issaquah, Wash.; seven great-grandchildren, Austin Chandler, Aaron White, Aiden White, Caden Cowherd, Kelsie Bowling, Julian Roscoe and Bennett White; four step-grandchildren, Pam White, Michelle White Bruner, Terri Kirkland and Laura Flamini; and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Donna White, on Dec. 10, 2004; and a granddaughter, Stephanie Barber.
Funeral was Saturday, April 27, at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville. The Rev. Jim Collison and Dr. Gary Ervin officiated.
Burial was in Cane Valley Cemetery.
