Lou Montgomery of Campbellsville died at 12:10 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2013, in Campbellsville.
Daughter of the late French Combs and Ethel Whitaker Combs, she was born in Breathitt County, Ky.
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville Baptist Church.
She was married to Alex Montgomery. He survives.
Survivors also include a daughter, Stephanie Montgomery and her husband, Matthew, of Louisville, Ky.; a son, Kris Mullins and his wife, Melissa, of Lexington, Ky.; five grandchildren, Greyson Montgomery, Piper Montgomery and Morgan Montgomery of Louisville and Cooper Mullins and Presley Mullins of Lexington; a brother, Harlis Combs of Dayton, Ohio; two sisters, Bea Patrick and Mildred Combs of Dayton; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Pat and Richard Montgomery of Louisville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Wallace Combs, Sam Combs and Willard Combs; and a sister, Edith Gross.
Funeral was Friday, Dec. 13, at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville. Drs. James Jones and Mike O'Neal officiated.
Burial was in Calvary Cemetery in Louisville.
Family requests expressions of sympathy be in the form of donations to Hospice of Central Kentucky and can be made at the funeral home.
