Newton P. Richardson, 89, of Campbellsville, died Wednesday, July 11, 2012.
Born on Dec. 27, 1922, he was the son of the late Leslie E. Richardson and Gladys Ponder Richardson.
He was a manager for Kroger for 42 years and was a farmer. He was a veteran of World War II.
He was married to Alice Tate Crooks Richardson. She preceded him in death.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Leslie N. and Pam Richardson of Campbellsville; a brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Grace Richardson of Owingsville, Ky.; a grandson, Price Randolph Richardson; several nieces and nephews and a special friend, Tony Maze.
He was also preceded in death by a son, Russell Crooks Richardson; two brothers, Parley Richardson and Randolph Richardson; a sister, Virginia Richardson Lollis and a grandson, Leslie N. Richardson.
