Ruby McMahan, 95, of Campbellsville, died at 3:15 p.m. Monday, April 1, 2013, in Campbellsville.
Daughter of the late Robert Hord and Bertha Romine Hord, she was born June 25, 1917, in Taylor County.
She professed faith in Christ and attended First Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
She was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville and was owner and operator of R & C Frame & Gift Shop for 30 years.
She married Clifton McMahan on Dec. 24, 1937. He preceded her in death Dec. 30, 1992.
Survivors include a daughter, Margie Leach and her husband, G.T.; three sons, Jerry McMahan and his wife, Mary, Bobby McMahan and his wife, Edith, and Donnie McMahan, all of Campbellsville; six grandchildren, Jeannie Hardin, Barry McMahan, Brian Leach and Wendy McMahan, all of Campbellsville, Janna Cotterill of Columbia, S.C. and Robb McMahan of Austin, Texas; seven great-grandchildren, Tye Hardin, Chelsea Hardin, Joshua McMahan, Patrick McMahan, Olivia McMahan, Brianne Leach and Madison Cotterill; three great-great-grandchildren, Thomas McMahan, Benjamin McMahan and Lane Hardin; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by three sisters, Lillian Black, Aileen Black and Lena Smith; and a brother, Oliver Hord.
