Wendell "Corky" Goodin, 84, of Marseilles, Ill., died Friday Aug. 24, 2012, at his home.

Son of the late John and Ollie Parnell Goodin, he was born Aug. 13, 1928, in Knifley, Ky.
He was employed by Nabisco for 40 years, until his retirement.
He married Lillian Burress in 1969. She preceded him in death in 2007.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Bernice and Butch Frig of Woodburn, Ky.; two sons and daughters-in-law, Tom and Laura Goodin and Frank and Bonnie Doyle, all of Marseilles; 13 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and a brother, James Kermis Goodin of Homestead, Fla.
He was also preceded in death by a son, David "Bud" Read.
Funeral was Tuesday, Aug. 28, at Seals-Campbell Funeral Home in Marseilles. The Rev. Duane Kaufman officiated.
