Kenny "Pops" Mings, 70, of Campbellsville, died at 1:45 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014, in Campbellsville.

Son of the late Jesse Mings and Lorene Stayton Mings, he was born Nov. 29, 1943, in Taylor County.
He professed faith in Christ and was active in the Emmaus community.
He served his country honorably in the Kentucky National Guard.
He was a member of Lebanon Masonic Lodge #87 F&AM and was a former bread truck driver and carpenter.
Survivors include his former wife, Beverly Cox Mings of Campbellsville; a stepdaughter, Sherry Graybeal of Campbellsville; five step-grandchildren, Lauren Simpson, Casey Sallee, Carlee Sallee, Levi Sallee and Jeffery Howard of Campbellsville; four step-great-grandchildren; three brothers, Jesse Mings Jr. and his wife, Shirley, and Darryel Mings and Dean Mings, all of Campbellsville; four nieces, Tracey Weddle, Kristin Dean, Deanna Borgmann and Nikki Price; three nephews, Ryan Mings, Dustin Mings and Kevin Mings; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral was Wednesday, Feb. 5, at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville. Bro. Don Gowin officiated.
Burial was in Jones Chapel Cemetery.
