Kathryn Bland Smith, 90, of Maryville, Tenn., formerly of Campbellsville, died at 2:50 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012, in Maryville.

Daughter of the late Ira Grant and Florence Bryant Grant, she was born Feb. 15, 1922, in Adair County, Ky.
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
She was a former employee of Campbellsville Cleaners.
She married James Bland on Dec. 9, 1939. He preceded her in death April 7, 1958.
She later married James W. Smith on March 22, 1963. He preceded her in death on Oct. 9, 2002.
Survivors include two sons, J.T. Bland and his wife, Connie, of Campbellsville, and Michael Bland and his wife Lee Ann, of Maryville; seven grandchildren, Craig Bland and his wife, Maria, Ryan Bland and his wife, Kim, David Bland, Christy Shuffett and her husband, Scott, Laura Jo Minor and her husband, Michael, Grant Bland and his wife, Kasey, and Tyler Bland and his wife, Nicole; a step-granddaughter, Margie Ross; six great-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson; two brothers, Eugene Grant and Ralph Grant of Indianapolis, Ind.; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by a sister, Edna McGaha; and three brothers, James Grant, Marshall Grant and Everett Grant.
Funeral was Monday, Nov. 12, at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville. Dr. James E. Jones officiated.
Burial was in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.
