Bernice "Bea" G. Phillips, 90, of Clarksville, Ind., formerly of Campbellsville and Lebanon, Ky., died at 7:28 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2012, in Clarksville.

Daughter of the late Henry Griffin and Kizzie Campbell Griffin, she was born in Taylor County on Sept. 15, 1922.
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Lebanon.
She was a retired registered nurse, family planning executive and educator, having worked at Mary Immaculate Hospital in Lebanon, Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville and Lincoln Trail District Health Department in Elizabethtown, Ky.
She married Lester A. Phillips on July 5, 1947. He preceded her in death Dec. 20, 1989.
Survivors include three daughters, Terri Crawford and her husband, Mac, of Lexington, Ky., Leslie Thomas and her husband, Larry, of Greenville, Ind., and Barbie Fiske-Phillips and her husband, Loring, of Redlands, Calif.; a son, Hank Phillips and his wife, Leslie, of Lexington, Ky.; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Doris Harding Griffin in infancy and Barbara Griffin.
Funeral was Saturday, Dec. 22, at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville. Griffin Phillips officiated.
Burial was in Harding Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Chip Crawford, Ben Good, Steve Hamilton, John Phillips, Corey Thomas and Curt Thomas.
