Nancy Reeves, 85, of Campbellsville, died at 3:40 p.m. Sunday, April 7, 2013, in Campbellsville.

Daughter of the late Hershel Simpson and Lillie Robertson Simpson, she was born Aug. 16, 1927, in Logan County, Ky.
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Summersville Baptist Church.
She married Samuel Edward Reeves Sr. on Nov. 26, 1943. He preceded her in death March 26, 1995.
Survivors include a son, Samuel Edward Reeves, Jr. and his wife, Cindy, of Columbia, S.C.; two daughters, Sandy Reynolds and her husband, David, and Sherry Sprowles and her husband, Steve, all of Campbellsville; four grandchildren, Samuel Edward Reeves III of Camp Lejeune, N.C., TaiAnn Webster and her husband, Ben, of Lexington, Ky., Daniel Reynolds and his wife, Dawn, and Adam Reynolds, all of Campbellsville; three great-grandchildren, Samuel Edward Reeves IV, Mason Reynolds and Sawyer Reynolds; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Martha Jane Reeves, on Dec. 26, 1946; five brothers, Douglas Simpson, Roy Simpson, John A. Simpson, Tommy Simpson and Wendell Simpson; and two sisters, Louise Larimore and Mary Evelyn Henderson.
Graveside service was Wednesday, April 10, at Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Green County, Ky. Drs. Jeff Eaton and James Jones officiated.
Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville was in charge of arrangements.
