Ivan E. Pepper, 95, of Campbellsville, died Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013.

He was born March 24, 1918, in Green County, Ky.
He was a member of Sand Lick Separate Baptist Church, a lifelong farmer, and a veteran of World War II, having served in the United States Army.
He married Mary Elizabeth Perry in April 1950. She preceded him in death on Sept. 15, 2002.
He later married Margaret Mitchell Dowell in January 2004. She survives.
Survivors also include two daughters and sons-in-law, Martha Joyce and Edwin McLaurin of Georgia, and Donna and Bobby Rodgers of Campbellsville; a son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Debbie Pepper of Louisville, Ky.; a stepdaughter, Gaylon Neat and her husband Larry, of Columbia, Ky.; two stepsons, Robert Dowell and his wife, Joyce, of LaGrange, Ky., and Jimmy Dowell and his wife, Gayle, of Campbellsville; a half-brother, Lee Stearman and his wife, Eleanor, of Elizabethtown, Ky.; a half sister-in-law, Barbara Stearman of Greensburg, Ky.; two grandsons, Joshua Ivan McLaurin of Georgia, and Alex Pepper of Campbellsville; several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
Funeral was Tuesday, Sept. 10, at Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg.
Burial was in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens with full military honors.
