Dalton Dewitt Harrison, 91, passed away December 5, 2012 at home. Funeral services will be Saturday, December 8, 2012 at 2 p.m. from McClain-Hays Chapel with Rev. Leslie Courtney, Rev. Lloyd Adcock and Rev. Eric Sharp officiating. Burial will follow in Old Pearl Valley Cemetery in Neshoba County with military honors. Visitation will be Saturday from 12 noon until service time at McClain-Hays Funeral Home in Philadelphia. He was born March 30, 1921 in Newton County to the late Luther and Lillian Harrison. He was a member of Macedonia Pentecostal Church. Mr. Harrison was a World War II
veteran. He retired from Choctaw Indian Agency. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Ezra, Eulis, Cecil, L.B., and sisters, Elena Adcock, Lora Estus McElhenney, and Jimmie Harris.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Margaret Salter Harrison; daughter, Martha Jane Smith (Glen) of Brandon; grandchildren, Brian Smith (Velda) of De Pere, Wisconsin, Jason Smith (Kaysey) of Brandon; one great-granddaughter, Valerie Melyn Smith of
Brandon; special niece, Sara Fox of Philadelphia and several other nieces and nephews.
