Rev. Jason Lee, 36, of Purvis, died January 1, 2013. Visitation will be Saturday, January 5, 2013 at Moore Funeral Home in Hattiesburg from 9:30 a.m. until 12 p.m. with services immediately following. Burial will be at 2 p.m. in the Dillard Hancock Family Cemetery in Smith County.

Jason was a bi-vocational Baptist minister for 15 years. Through his ministry, outreach and love of God, multitudes of lives were touched and changed. Jason was known for his sense of humor, his love of family and friends and always made time for others no matter what was going on in his own life. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Lee of Purvis; two daughters, Summer Lee and Shelby Lee both of Purvis; his parents, Hunter and Jo Ann Hancock Lee of Clinton; three brothers, Samuel David (Aimee) Lee of Purvis, Todd (Wendy) Lee of Richton and Carlos Lefaye (Heather) Lee of Clinton; and a number of nieces and nephews.
