Daniel was born on November 16, 1956 in New Orleans, Louisiana to Louis Mason Love and Ila Mae Love. At the time of his passing he was living with his wife, Donna Jo and his ever faithful-ever loving- Boxer, Duke. Daniel died just ten days shy of his and Donna's sixth anniversary. He served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. While serving his country he worked on airplane engines of our fighter pilots. During this time he also was able to travel throughout Europe.
After being Honorably Discharged Daniel returned to Mississippi and attended Mississippi State University where he studied Aero Space Engineering. He also loved riding motorcycles, working on old cars with his sons and still referred to his daughter as "Daddy's Little Girl".
Daniel passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 16, 2013, at 9:18 a.m. with his loving wife by his bedside. Daniel had fought a long battle with liver disease and was 56 years and 2 months old. He is survived by his wife, Donna Jo; three children: Daniel Adam Love, Sarah Danielle Love, Jacob Matthew Love (wife, Hunter); granddaughter, Emma Grace Love all of Brookhaven, Mississippi; three brothers: Roy Love of California, Louis Love & Paul Love of Mississippi; two half-brothers: David Love of Mississippi & Joshua Love of Texas, half- sister, Becky Love of Mississippi; two step brothers: Bill Doonan and Tony Doonan of Mississippi; mother-in-law, Virginia Barten and brother-in-law, Darren Barten and many many friends
He will be missed by all that knew and loved him!!!
