A celebration of the life of Jane Willis Toler, affectionately known as "Mom", 91, of Inverness will be held at Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at First Baptist Church in Inverness. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until the 2:00 pm service. Burial will follow in Hickory Grove Cemetery in Inverness under the direction of Burton Funeral Home of Indianola. She passed away Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at her home. Mrs. Toler was a lifelong resident of Inverness and a loyal member of the First Baptist Church where she joyfully served as a long time teacher of the Mittie Toler class. She was also a devoted leader in the Explorers Bibles Study and a proud member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Jane's faith and joyful spirit were a blessing to a host of friends and family. She was a treasured influence and inspiration in the lives of many. She was preceded in death by her husband, Street Toler, Jr.; her parents, Mr. & Mrs. W.V. Willis; and two brothers, Billy Willis and Alby Willis and a brother in law, Merton Toler, Sr. (Goldie). She is survived by two sons, Jack Toler of Isola and Woody (Phyllis) Toler of Jackson; one brother, Richard Willis (Kathryn) of Montgomery, AL; two sisters, Mary Kathryn McDowell of Inverness and Bertie Ann Holaday of Louise; and two brothers in law, Bill (Helen) Toler of Inverness and Ken (Sandra) Toler of Jackson; five grandchildren, Kent Toler of Inverness, Nancy Street (Lee) Elkins of Madison; Pack Toler of Isola, Kate Ragsdale of Jackson, Sloan Toler of Jackson; and nine great grandchildren.
