Terrell Julianne Knoblock Callahan, 61, died Nov. 11, 2012 at her home in Ackworth, Ga.

Visitation will be held 5:30-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 13, at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Forest, Miss. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 14 at Colonial Chapel with the Bro. Paul Nasekos officiating. Interment will be at Eastern Cemetery in Forest, Miss.

Terrell was born March 11, 1951 in Orange, Texas to William Howard Edmondson and Doris Virginia Knoblock Edmondson. She grew up in Jackson, Miss. and spent most of her life teaching special needs children in Forest, Miss.

Terrell was a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi, majoring in education and minoring in art. She was an amateur artist and enjoyed learning from her aunt, Mary Katharine Loyacano McCravey. Her favorite hobbies were spending time with her grandchildren and painting.

Terrell was preceded in death by her parents as well as one sister, Mary Markley Quirk of San Diego, Calif. She leaves behind a beloved son, Neal Davidson Callahan and wife Kristie of Lake, Miss; two grandchildren, Chloe Callahan and Carter Callahan; a great nephew, Tate Rushing, son of her beloved niece, Tracy Anna Rushing and husband Tim of Forest, Miss.; brothers, Robin Neal Edmondson and wife Houng of Marietta, Ga; Howard Hayden Edmondson and wife Annette of Lawrence, Miss.; sister, Marjorie Anna (Janna) Bridges of Jackson, Miss.; Katharine Marian Ray and husband Paul of Columbus, Miss.; Lisa Diane Elrod of Ackworth, Ga.; Andrea Marie Turman and husband Terry of Jackson, Miss.; Doris Laurin Ferguson and husband David of Jacksonville, Fla.; special friends Janifer Gray-Johnson of Forest, Miss. and Helen Perritt of Lake, Miss; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers include: David Blaine Ferguson, Terry Mason Turman, Randall Teasley, Patrick Ryan Turman, Javier Rodriguez, James Nicholas Davis and Travis Kristopher Usry.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Mississippi Animal Rescue League, 5221 Greenway Drive Ext., Jackson, MS 39204
