Craig Allen Ainsworth, 37, of Madison, died Monday, October 4, 2010, at St Dominic's Hospital in Jackson, of congestive heart failure.

Craig was born March 7, 1973 in Irving, Texas, and was the son of Nan Ainsworth and the late John Ed Ainsworth. He attended Jackson Academy and graduated high school from Madison Ridgeland Academy in 1992. He later graduated from Mississippi State University and worked for the Department of Rehab for the State of Mississippi. He was a member of Pinelake Church.
Craig was a loving and devoted father to Blake Ainsworth, who he adored and was extremely proud. Craig was a fan of all sports, especially football, basketball, and baseball and regularly attended games whenever he had the chance.
But most importantly Craig loved the Lord. He longed for everyone to find the relationship with God that he cherished so dearly. He will be remembered as a loving father, caring son, encouraging brother and truly an inspiration to all.
Craig was preceded in death by his father, John Ed Ainsworth.
Survivors include his son, Blake Ainsworth; mother, Nan Ainsworth; two brothers and their wives, Ronnie and Stacey Ainsworth; and Mike and Carrie Ainsworth; nephews, Hunter, Elliott, Sanders Ainsworth; and niece, Alexa Kate Ainsworth.
The funeral service will be held Friday at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Wright and Ferguson in Ridgeland. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 PM on Thursday and from 9 AM until service time on Friday.
