Kenneth Eugene Nelson, 58, passed from this life Monday, March 26, 2012 at Hospice Ministries, Ridgeland.
Visitation is 4:00-7:00pm today at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Funeral services are 11:00am Wednesday, March 28, 2012 in the funeral home chapel with interment in the Florence Cemetery.
Kenny attended Clear Branch Baptist Church and his hobbies included camping, fishing, riding his bike and watching Western movies and TV programs. He was also an avid Elvis fan.
Kenny will best be remembered for his friendly nature-he truly "never met a stranger".
Survivors include his parents, Merle L. Nelson, Sr. and Carolyn Neal Nelson; brothers, Wayne Nelson, Lane Nelson and wife Dorothy and Merle L. Nelson, Jr. and wife Kathy; and several nieces, nephews and friends.
The family wishes to express special thanks to the staffs of Camellia Hospice and Hospice Ministries for their loving care and support.
