Charlie helped me revamp my business a few years ago. I had not
seen him in 30 years. He let me know right quick that his life was good, he adored his wife and sons, and he had not missed a U2 concert in a while:) Special man. God bless yall.

My deepest condolences to Charlie's family. Although we only attended Wingfield High School together for one year, we reconnected on Face Book many years later and enjoyed a friendship and mutual love of music through that medium. His life was a true testament of deep love for his family and friends. He will be greatly missed.

I was greatly saddened to here of Charlie's passing. I went to Marshall Elementary for six wonderful years with Charlie and then we attended Wingfield. I loved to talk to him about music and football. I have always read his proud posts on facebook regarding his son's baseball and family life with interest. God Bless my friend.

Lynn,
My heart goes out to you. It is bad enough to lose your husband to an illness but a real shock for sudden death like Charlie. I wish I could tell you it won't be hard without him but I can't. It will get easier with time though. My heart and prayers are with you and the boys. Love you.

A good friend gone way too soon who will be deeply missed by a lot of people. A fierce competitor on football field or tennis court & an easy going fun loving demeanor off who always seemed to be smiling or laughing. Just enjoying life.
I was fortunate to know you & be
your friend. Wingfield High Class '80.

Charles and I first met while officiating years ago. We just had so much FUN together doing the sport. Over time we kept up on FB and communicated back and forth about his son playing bb for the Longhorns and about MSU. Charles even FB me earlier this month as I was recovering from back surgery. I text-ed many of the football officials who were around back then and let them know. I will miss his smile and those hugs! Prayers to the family for comfort.

Lynn and family,
I am so very sorry for your loss.
Charlie was such a great guy - we (the instructors) loved having him in classes at the Club. He gave such an energy to the room and kept us all on our toes! I never had him in a class where he didn't make me smile (or laugh out loud) at some comment he'd have. And he was so proud of his family. He will be greatly missed. My prayers are with you all.

What can I say that won't be said by hundreds of others who sign this guest book? Charlie was bigger than life, generous and loving, and one of a kind. We're all blessed for having known him and I am honored to have called him my friend. My thoughts and prayers are with Lynn and the boys. Always remember how special Charlie was to many of us, and know that he will never be forgotten, especially by any member of the Wingfield H.S. Class of 1980. His presence will always be among us. Rest In Peace "Mater". Till I see you again.

Lynn and Family,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Charlie and I looked a lot alike and at the MSDH (many years ago) was often mistaken for each other. He took it in stide although I think he got the raw end of the deal. May God Bless and comfort you for all the days of your life until we all rejoice in heaven together.
